@baydews The interesting part of ai is that it can generalize this knowledge so it can understand things like "line on the right"
Anyways, the weights are 4 gigs because it takes a lot less bits to describe "line means line" to a computer than the intricacies of each specific piece
@baydews drawings of a line in the middle of the canvas, each described using the words "line in middle" the ai could train on those images and produce weights that essentially say that if you put in the description "line in middle" it will give you a line in the middle.
@baydews@Cas_clouds@itsgabibelle As for seeing pieces of art in the product, that's simply not how these models work. You can download the full models of some of these image generators, they are simply not big enough to contain actual pieces of art.
@baydews@Cas_clouds@itsgabibelle The watermarks are there because people put watermarks on art, so the ai has learned to put them on as well. Just like it has learned how to draw trees and mountains and faces.
@fraac1@kaelin_aether@ZoeyFlutterby@Ranting_Trans Something that I've heard that makes sense to me is that cis people don't notice gender because their gender matches up with how people view them. The feeling of being a certain gender is only really noticeable when there's a disconnect between that and how people see you.
