You can see how surprised Punch looks by Maru’s kind gesture. 🥹😭 There was no one to ask him whether he was cold or hungry, no one to pamper or care for him like the others. But his big sister, Maru, came to him like a mom, offering him some snacks and comforting him. 😭🥲🥹❤️

March 3-2026 : One of the sweetest clips from Punch kun’s early days.

It was raining and he was just sitting in the shelter when Momiage came running over on two legs, carrying green leaves in both hands. She sat down next to him and let him eat all of them, like a little mom giving her kid a treat on a rainy day.

Still one of the most heartwarming things they’ve ever done.

🤗 This is Punch Kun on February 19. He was exactly 1 month old in the enclosure.

His first friend was just Momiage Chan.

When Momi came with some leaves, Punch got so happy. He ran to her fast and left his mama behind.

He didn’t care about the food. He only wanted to hug and kiss his friend Momi, like he found a lost buddy.

Momi looked confused. Then she ran away. Baby Punch went back to his mom. 🥹

Yesterday, just before the zoo closed and Monkey Mountain’s curtain came down for almost three weeks… around 4:30 PM, Punch climbed up and sat in that one spot where he could be seen so clearly from the back row. Everyone was recording him.

It felt like he knew we wouldn’t be seeing him for a while and wanted to give everyone one last look. I know he may not understand any of this, but he looked just as sad as all of us watching. 🥺

We might not see you for a while, Punchi… but our wishes will keep you safe.

8/19 This clip of Punch from today is really funny.

He was all set to do the stunt. But just before jumping, he picked up a stick and put it in his mouth.

It looked like the stick was giving him extra confidence or moral support. The way he did that made the whole moment super hilarious.

One of Punch’s friends was pushed away by another monkey, and Punch quietly watched the whole scene. 😟🥺
He didn’t react. Instead, after witnessing everything, Punch slowly approached the one who had been pushed away as if he wanted to make sure his victim was okay and offer some emotional support. 🥹❤️🐒
Such a small gesture, but it says so much about Punch’s kind and empathetic heart. He may be tiny, but his compassion is truly huge. 😪🥹❤️
