A global leader in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) needed a drop-in replacement unit for a Superchanger® plate and frame #heatexchanger. The PHE is used to cool water coming off their vent compressor and has very specific configurations for the flanged & mitered nozzles.
Two Supermax Shell & Plate HEs are headed to a university in Ohio. The Supermax HEs will be used in a facility that generates electricity with combustion turbines and then utilizes exhaust heat to make steam and heat water, which the university uses to heat campus buildings.
BRINGING EFFICIENCY TO HEAT TRANSFER!

The Tranter parts & service team had a their first in-person sales meeting last week in over a year in Wichita Falls, TX. Innovative product updates and new strategic initiatives were discussed. #Partsandservice#heatexchangers#teamwork#Teamculture#Teambuilding
The capital equipment team had a their first in-person sales meeting last week in over a year in Wichita Falls, TX. Great product updates, strategies and innovative new products were discussed. It was great to get the team together while practicing social distancing.
A drop-in replacement Superchanger® PHE was needed quickly and is now headed to a facility where it will be used in the anodizing station of a metal finishing process. Our engineering team were able to quickly find the past drawings for their unit and get it into production.
3 Superchanger® PHEs are going into a Polyethylene Petrochemical Plant to cool the water integral to the operation (Cooling Water Circulation Coolers) and increase process reliability (Multi-stage Jacketed Water System). #heatexchanger#superchanger
A small Superchanger® Plate & Frame Heat Exchanger is headed to a manufacturing facility that produces polyurethane for adhesive applications. With such an effective footprint and high versatility, the SC provides outstanding efficiency transferring heat. #heatexchanger
A Wide-Gap Superchanger® is heading to an Ethanol Facility that produces hydrous USP grade ethanol. The PHE will cool the ethyl alcohol using water. Tranter’s PHEs help ethanol producers maximize thermal process efficiency & optimize uptime while minimizing maintenance.
