@GenWamala @MoWT_Uganda holds a placard with a remarkable call to action, "Don't Die on the Road", as he laments the loss of over 3000 lives on Uganda's roads between June and October 2024.

@ROSACUg @GenWamala The minister @MoWT_Uganda encouraged companies such as @mtnug, @Airtel_Ug and others to join the road safety awareness campaigns through Corporate Social Responsibility programs.

06 people dead & 05 others injured in a fatal crash involving 3 vehicles @ 03:30 today on the 16th October, 2024 @ Sinalya along Kampala-Gulu road. The crash occurred when the driver of a Fuso Truck traveling from Kampala to Gulu collided head-on with an oncoming Toyota Hiace traveling in the opposite direction. The accident occurred while the truck driver was overtaking without due care.

Remember, reckless overtaking puts lives at risk. Stay safe on the roads by adhering to these essential guidelines:
- Drive Defensively: Anticipate potential hazards and react accordingly.
- Respect Fellow Road Users: Share the road and consider others' safety.
- Follow Traffic Rules and Regulations: Obey speed limits, signs, and signals.
- Stay Alert and Focused: Avoid distractions while driving.
