Este caso refleja los distorsionados estándares que tienen muchos hombres, acostumbrados a las veinteañeras en la pornografía y la prostitución. Desarrollan una especie de dismorfia. En el espejo ven que tienen 73, pero en su corazón creen ser atractivos jovenes o poderosos reyes propietarios de un harén de chicas jóvenes.

Desde ese pedestal en que se ponen, y desde el pozo en que sitúan a las mujeres que no encajan en su estrecho canon, miran a una mujer 26 años más joven que ellos y piensan “vaya, tendré que conformarme”.

Como decía Virginia Wolf, en esta sociedad las mujeres son “espejos que muestran a los hombres al doble de su tamaño”.

@capitanaeo Pero a decir verdad, Mike a sido uno de los artistas que sufrió mayor escrutinio por sus cirugías. Pienso que influyó mucho la época (y cierto capacitismo). En la actualidad, hay figuras con muchísimas cirugías visibles que no son reducidas a solo eso por el público.

@capitanaeo No por algo mike no es tan juzgado físicamente en Asia como lo es en occidente, dado que en Asia la cirugía plástica/cambio facial es más normalizado y menos ocultado que en estos lados; que se tiende a vender la percepción “natural”.
