@fullvanfun 4WD is recommended, but not necessary if it’s dry. The road is maintained pretty well.

@fullvanfun Great advice. There were a couple of times when I wasn’t sure if we would make it to the next gas station. The station on the gas app was closed. When in doubt, fill er up.

@fullvanfun A6- Easier said than done, but try to take it slow. Take plenty of pictures and videos. Pay attention even when driving outside the parks, because you never know what you’ll see. Our trips out west the last two summers were a blur, but we have plenty of memories #KidsNParksChat

@fullvanfun A4- I’ll echo what @NatureGirlTech said. Being from the southeast, I’m in awe of the openness of the west. Everything is big and vast. I also like the history and geology. From indigenous peoples to ocean fossils to gold rushes. #KidsnParksChat

@fullvanfun A3- As much as I love the southwest, I’m a mountain guy at heart. Give me trees, streams, and cooler temperatures. Montana, Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming are my favorites #KidsNParksChat
