@mlozon3 Trump started the tariff war, not Canada. Canada is standing up to the bully. Would you just tell your kid to give his lunch money to the bully each day?
@PressSec This is almost a joke at this point. Americans pay these tariffs. Award goes to Trump administration for being the worst business decision makers on the planet. It will take years to see the full damage and then undo it after his term. Aren’t you embarrassed working for him?
@WeldonDerek@cbcwatcher Trump has put tariffs on every country, not just Canada. I don’t believe - whether leadership was conservative or liberal - that either side would have predicted how damaging Trump 2.0 would be on the world stage.
@YoungStreete Right. Let’s have our dairy farmers go out of business. That’s a great plan. Obviously you don’t understand what’s at stake here. Plus, Trump is trying to find something to pick on to put Canada in economic turmoil…51st state and all that nonsense. It’s not about dairy. 🙄
@WhiteHouse Canada imposed retaliatory tariffs to YOUR tariffs. Imports fell because Canadians no longer want American goods if you are going to treat your partner like this. The US caused this and is trying to gaslight MAGA into thinking it’s Canada’s fault 🙄.
@FoodProfessor Mexico literally has said they are negotiating within cusma, not outside of it. You just can’t work with someone who changes the rules and can’t live by a deal he even made himself. What would you tell your kids that were being bullied? To hand over their lunch money?
@MarkJCarney Unfortunately, it’s a waste of your time to try dealing with Trump. Keep focusing on getting us trading elsewhere. Ignore the bully. Hopefully the Americans will soon get tired of his authoritarian ways that are ruining America and do something about it.
@MelissaLMRogers Obviously Carney didn’t kiss his feet and now Trump is mad. That is precisely how to deal with a bully. The more Trump childishly outbursts when he doesn’t get his way, the less votes he will get in the future. His tantrums will be his downfall.
@mario4thenorth How much are you getting paid to post lies and trying to make Canada divided? Who is paying you? You’ll just do anything for the money? Sad.
@johngatti2 It’s interesting how you view this. Most of the world watches Carney ignore this bully as much as diplomatically possible and keep doing what needs to be done for Canada while Trump continues digging himself into deeper hole and losing votes with his childish tantrums 😂
@cbcwatcher It appears it wasn’t the type of partnership Canada was looking for? If it was a good deal, Canada would surely take it but we haven’t seen many fair deals from the US under Trump unfortunately.
@mario4thenorth 5) people who have voted conservative in the past that didn’t vote conservative in this election because PP does not have credible solutions or the right kind of leadership style to lead Canada
@fordnation For all the people disagreeing…if your kid was being bullied for their lunch money, would you tell them to back down and just give the bully their lunch money every day? What would you tell your kid to do to the bully? Canada didn’t take liquor off the shelf for no reason…
@PierrePoilievre PP’s solution: “here’s how: press the big red donate button and fill out my form so I can market more nonsense to you by email”. I thought he was actually going to give us a solution there and got excited and clicked the link…silly me!
@dsimieritsch Have you considered it’s not just the left who want him removed? PP is a horrible leader - unprofessional in his half-truths and trying to divide Canada. I would be overjoyed to have a competent conservative leader who will make Canada better
@lane581181@PierrePoilievre You’re a funny guy, by the way. I do appreciate your super strong defense of “grow up”. I guess if that’s your only comeback, my argument is pretty solid 😂.
@lane581181@PierrePoilievre It only discusses HALF the truth of where this data came from. He interestingly doesn’t mention that it has also been identified as external global factors that contribute to this - not gov policy. You need to not take things for face value and do your own research and thinking
@PierrePoilievre All Pierre does is exaggerated social media content to try to enrage Canadians. What do you think his motive is? Can’t he see it’s not winning over Canadians? Is it just to try to divide and create negativity? I don’t know how this guy got into this seat. It’s embarrassing.
