Around this time last year I was in the same spot I currently am. In a rut, wondering how I’d continue to make this work. Trying to find a way to put out the work that I felt was true to me.
Then, the numbers you see in this image happened, I sold 5 original paintings for more money than I ever thought imaginable.
Shortly before, I hadn’t completed a painting in around 6-9 months. At this current moment, it has been around 4.
Not because I’ve grown complacent or “left” as you all like to say us artists do in a bear market. But because I, again, am trying to make the work that I feel is true to me.
What happened in the last quarter of 2022 for me was NO FLUKE. And neither will the last quarter of 2023.
If you’re still here, thank you. And if not, I’ll see you when I’m up, they always come back ✊🏼⚫️
Some general housekeeping.
1) I will conduct the raffle I posted a few days ago and will announce the winner today. Apologies, I have been long haul flying.
2) My piece 'Headstrong' is now LIVE with the @westernartdept - the link is below!
Very excited and thank you!

Having a collector cherishing one of your pieces the way Travis does is more than priceless. Its the most beautiful and pure thing any Artist could ever hope for and I am so grateful about this, about the whole journey ♥️🧘♂️
@ArtOnInternet So so so many but in the name of spreading the love and not just constantly talking about artists I’ve collected from I think @vestica_mariah is super underrated. Her work is timeless to me. It’s generational and could be appreciated in any era. “Rescuing a dog from a shelter”
