@startleseasily Noise canceling headphones only “cancel” ambient noise like a constant humming sound from an air conditioner or etc. They will “muffle” other dynamic sounds because you just have something blocking your ear a bit. If you want a more effective solution normal ear plugs work great

@YaDonkey @TheTNHoller @JeremyFaison4TN For better or for worse, we do live in America & there is no way that the police are going to inspect your home or vehicle periodically to make sure you are storing safe. Which is why I keep saying we need to make it a part of training to get permit approval in the first place.

@YaDonkey @TheTNHoller @JeremyFaison4TN People are not just leaving guns on their seats fully exposed. What they are doing is not locking them up in their vehicles, in addition to concealing them, so when someone breaks in, they find an unlocked firearm in the gloovebox and they take it.

@YaDonkey @TheTNHoller @JeremyFaison4TN And then the adult can be held accountable for child neglect and endangerment. But too, we could make it part of the permit course that you have to show you have proper home storage before issuing a permit.

There is no probable cause and technically is an infringement of rights. Same reason why gun storage in a home can’t be enforced. The only caveat being, if a child gets the gun and uses it..

@TheTNHoller @JeremyFaison4TN There is a problem with this though. If your firearm is stolen out of your vehicle, & you know you’re going to get fined etc if you report it, no one would ever report. Reporting stolen firearms is important. The problem is idiots don’t know how to secure firearms properly.
