@PeetFlo@Miguelstuff0@ESPNNBA Nice troll job, you are making numbers up. They beat the Knicks in back-to-back playoffs, so only 4 wins is impossible. He has at least 8 in the playoffs against them and we are not even counting regular season.
@PacersKev@mcuban@Pacers That it’s fun to go to a game and not care (or even hope) that the team you’re a fan of loses? I’d just prefer not to watch it or attend at that point
That’s why Mark’s take seems out of touch to me. If all basketball is is just a casual entertainment experience, they’ve lost me
@PacersKev@mcuban@Pacers Fans in here who are saying “they agree 100%” are basically just saying they agree with tanking under this system.
But do people really think this is enjoyable? That it’s fun to watch? That it’s fun to look at your notifications and hope your team lost?
@PacersKev@mcuban@Pacers I don’t blame any of the teams tanking now. But I don’t agree that’s enjoyable for a fan who loves basketball. I know the players who are out there are playing with pride and intensity. But I want to watch our best foot forward / our best gameplan. That’s my long take, thanks KP
@PacersKev@mcuban@Pacers Teams should never be incentivized to embrace non-competitive tactics as a rational strategy. It’s an abomination to the sport, especially when gambling is involved.
The league shouldn’t have to baby-sit rational behavior either. Incentives to compete shouldn’t be controversial.
@TheoAshNFL Nice engagement farming - start with a post acting like he missed guys all over the place, only to show examples of him not missing any open guys downfield considering he was either pressured or on-the-run. Your comments are “gotta uncork this” / “this is a much tougher ask” 😂
They literally injured or fouled out our entire guard rotation lol. And the Mathurin 6th foul was so weak. A timeout given to Mark right when the ball was stolen lmao. Just can’t make it up
