Milei in Davos 2024: Quotes (20) - Closing words
"In concluding, I would like to leave a message for all entrepreneurs and business people here, and for those who are not here in person but are following from around the world:
Do not be intimidated either by the political caste nor by parasites who live off the state.
Do not surrender yourself to a political class that only wants to perpetuate itself in power and keep their privileges.
You are social benefactors, you are heroes, you are the creators of the most extraordinary period of prosperity we have ever seen.
Let no one tell you that your ambition is immoral.
If you make money, it's because you offer a better product at the best price, thereby contributing to the general well-being.
Do not yield to the advance of the state.
The state is not the solution, the state is the problem itself.
You are the true protagonists of this story.
And rest assured that starting today, you can count on Argentina as an unconditional ally.
Long Live Freedom, Dammit!"
New Data: Here’s what kind of content will perform the best on social media in 2024.
We decided to look at the 6 major social networks and analyzed a total of 6,302,491 pieces of content to see what performs the best.
And we did this over the last 30 days to see what’s really working today and not what “used” to work.
This way, you can plan out your 2024 content calendar.
Let’s first look at the type of content that generates the most engagement.
You may be wondering where the text-based content fits, it’s in the “other” bucket.
It just shows how much more people prefer things like memes (images) or videos.
But in case you like creating text-based content like me, here are the types that perform the best.
And if you are strapped for time and want to leverage user-generated content more, here are the platforms it performs the best on.
For 2024, focus on short-form videos.
And if you want to focus on text-based content, leverage how-to and listicle type content.
Best of luck with your social media marketing in 2024.
Stats vs. Stories: Guess who wins customer’s hearts?
73% of consumers engage with brands that tell stories (HubSpot).
A story-driven ad campaign can boost engagement by 22% (Marketing Land).
80% of decisions are made on emotion and only 20% on logic, according to a study by McKinsey & Company.
This highlights the significant role emotions play in influencing our choices.
Data shows that 78% of people remember stories vs. only 5% of facts (Brand Storytelling Institute).
But facts can be fascinating!
Do you guys remember the Sarah video?
The single mom juggling work and 3 kids? A touching video (1.2M views!) showed how an app saved her sanity (and laundry load). Sales skyrocketed 30%.
In essence, numbers tell, stories sell.
If you're wondering... Sarah is a fictional character I created to illustrate the power of storytelling. While I don't have a specific link to a video about her, I bet you want to know the entire story.
Now, you can definitely use her as inspiration to craft your own brand story using real characters and data.
Here's what you should do:
1. Unearth human truths - What drives your customers What struggles do they face?
2. Craft relatable narratives - Weave your brand into stories that resonate.
3. Evoke emotions - Make them laugh, cry, cheer! (But keep it brand-aligned)
Remember, people buy from people, not stats.
The prompt I use to get ChatGPT to write an article that people want to read.
If you just tell ChatGPT to write an article, chances are you will get an article, but it will be one that you have to modify a lot.
But after using it for a year or so, I’ve figured out how to get it to write an article that requires less editing.
Here’s the prompt I use on ChatGPT:
I want to write an article about [insert topic] that includes stats and cite your sources. And use storytelling in the introductory paragraph.
The article should be tailored to [insert your ideal customer].
The article should focus on [what you want to talk about] instead of [what you don’t want to talk about].
Please mention [insert your company or product name] in the article and how we can help [insert your ideal customer] with [insert the problem your product or service solves]. But please don't mention [insert your company or product name] more than twice.
And wrap up the article with a conclusion and end the last sentence in the article with a question.

I just realized that #AI and #QuantumComputing will mature at roughly the same time in our history...
I can only imagine what AI will be able to do with that much computing power..
Our world will definitely not be the same in 10 years.
@ashtonforbes@elonmusk Is it a coincidence or fate that AI and Quantum computing will mature at roughly the same time in our history?
I can only imagine what AI will be able to do with that much computing power..
REPORT: Activists are upset at YouTuber Mr. Beast for building 100 wells across Africa that provided clean drinking water to its citizens
Although the wells provide clean water to half a million Africans, activists are upset with Mr. Beast because they're annoyed a white male was the one who solved the problem.
"I’ve been doing this for 15 years, but we’ve been struggling to continue the work because funding, awareness, and advocacy all take work," said founder of FACE Africa Saran Kaba Jones.
"Overnight, this person comes along, who happens to be a white male figure with a huge platform, and all of a sudden, he gets all of the attention. It’s kind of frustrating, but it’s also understanding the nature of how the world is," she said before giving him a weak 'thank you.'
Others were upset that Mr. Beast "highlighted" the failures of the Kenyan government that maintained the stereotype that Africa is "dependent on handouts… and philanthropic intervention."
Mr. Beast predicted the backlash, saying he he knows he is going to get "canceled" but he doesn't care.
"I already know I'm gonna get canceled because I uploaded a video helping people, and to be 100% clear, I don't care."
Clean drinking water is racist.
