@caralynnshultz hi Cara, I have terminal lung disease & have had double lung transplants. I am sure your article came from a place of sharing a good story and reporting, but there were several things I was hoping I could address privately with you for the future? With respect, T.
@SarabiaTX Hi Alex. I sent a message to @SenWarren via instagram. I couldn’t find her email. I’d like to speak with her re organ transplants, as I’ve undergone 3 double-lung transplants, and in need of a kidney. I think we could have a very productive call.
Thanks & take care,
T
There’s just… a difference… in the tone… *ideology*… messaging… overall entire speech that’s shared with the audience…
I mean… which one would you want children hearing? The one about dreams, passions, perseverance? Or the one about eradicating an entire group?
#LGBTQIA
I am in end-stage renal disease, and will need a kidney transplant. I am fighting and doing everything to survive. If you can give through @givebutter , it would mean the world to my loved ones and I. Life with serious medical complications isn’t cheap. https://t.co/voGC0mfa5U
I hope that everyone lets their 2022 negativity out the back door and open their front door to all the positivity coming in with 2023 💛 keep moving, dreaming, and creating the life that you desire! 🥰💪
Tonight the @CF_Foundation @CFF_LA honored me with an award for my work within the #CysticFibrosis community. I’m so grateful for this recognition, and will continue to work with the CFF. I do this in memory of my friends that have passed, and those who continue to battle! 💪💜💛
@taylornation13 EVERY #SWIFTY PARENT: …and if you listen, some say you can even hear the Easter Bunny!
@taylorswift: KARMA. *giggles because HER EASTER EGGS date back centuries.*
At this point, #EasterBunny was created as an #EasterEgg for #TaylorSwift to use “Easter Eggs” 😂🥰
#COVID19 is still killing vulnerable people. Yet, posts like this are viral:
“I’m a survivor of <place> #MaskRequirement *sarcastic photo*”
On behalf of TRUE DAILY WARRIORS/SURVIVORS: we will always fight for #masks to PROTECT YOU. Approx 40% will develop cancer (in a lifetime)
@lisabentley No, unfortunately it won’t help the lungs of a transplanted CF individual because my lungs technically no longer have CF anymore. Hope you’re well, Lisa! 💛
Making 5+ year plans when you have a serious illness can almost feel like wishful thinking… but guess what? It is for everyone! It’s just guidelines. Remember: you’ve made it this far! So, go wishful think yourself some guidelines 5 years into the future - I’ll see you there!💛
A little freaked out this AM. Does anyone know what the loud explosion sound in #DTLA was? It woke me out of my sleep at 5am… there were zero emergency sirens and it sounds way to loud to be a firework - but it’s also not the first time I’ve heard it. Any idea? @latimes@LAPDHQ
I still hope and pray that I will one day be able to land my dream job despite all of the hardships I face.
People with chronic illness &/or disabilities are such hard workers because we already work hard for the every-day simple things in life. A job gets 200% effort from us.💪
I’ve seen more people with cystic fibrosis dive into serious career changes than ever before, which includes another one today. Lots of my friends with CF are calling them ‘Trikafta dream jobs’
Just absolutely love to see it. This is what we’ve all dreamed of.
Exclusively linking #monkeypox to “men who have sex with men” is a disservice to all. The use of this phrasing only revives stigmas that lgbtq+ communities have fought for decades. Make no mistake, regardless of your sexual orientation/race/gender - It’s a virus. It’s spreading.
On Thursday, the federal government declared the national outbreak of monkeypox — which has been spreading almost entirely among men who have sex with men — a public health emergency.
