@nicklander@catfan28 Mathurin jumped a commitment to Nebraska, then went to Michigan, now jumping ship. She is a head case much like her mom, the agent.
I watched her in AAU and a camp my daughter attended. We dont want her
I’ve had a bunch of conversations last 24hrs about the HB515 moratorium amendment. I am a person of Faith, family, and my faith/family matter A LOT to me. I don’t believe HB 515 was thought through at all.
1. I believe families should be able to make choices about what they Choose to do. That should not be legislated to them by the state. Everyone’s schedules are different. Some families choose to enjoy sports during those times-as a family. The State shouldn’t be controlling that.
2. All the amendment did was limit school specific sports. That means there will be athletes attending club practices, and they already do attend club practices on Wednesday nights after school practices, and they have club practices/tournaments on the weekends-Sundays. This is also not an anti club post, but that is true.
3. Everyone isn’t of the same faith and schedules surrounding those faith practices.
4. In sport HS athletics aren’t what are draining kids, so I don’t see how the supposed “Fix”. It is an amendment that limits HS teams more, and that’s it.
5. Schools schedules and flexibility, and gym space are stretched way too thin, it just creates way more problems. So again, I don’t believe this amendment was thought through, and I think it was just thrown out there dealing with specific issues a few people had without really addressing what they Thought they were addressing.
@joannachadwick You know basketball players dont pay any attention at the line to anything but their shot right? Most focus and only hear their coach.
Even at college level, the waving behind the basket and noise, doesn't become their focus. Players shoot hundreds and thousands of shots...

@JacobMorley He was headed to the scorers table to report the 2 technicals......way to create drama that wasn't there .
When a ref calls a foul or tech, they report the foul to the official scorer at the scorer table.
