@mbrown_co We gave our kids $ for grades. They did great in school. Not sure if the $ helped or if they would’ve got good grades anyways. When report cards hit, they were proud to show them and had fun telling me to pay up.
@BowTiedKong Sons a senior I held him back. Wife’s in education and was initially against it. Now she says it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made. He’s excelled academically, athletically, and we have him at home for another year. It’s a no brainer for boys.
@pcal051@TripleNetInvest O’Reillys, Baxter’s, and Napa offer this in my area. I’m in car business. Az just opened in my town and neighboring town. We used O’Reillys, because they’d deliver the smallest order in 15-30 min. Pretty amazing really.
@sweatystartup Another benefit is you get an extra year of them at home. Raising kids goes by like a blink of the eye. Glad I have an extra year with him.
@Camp4 I closed my used car lot last year, 13 yrs. Took summer off and went to work at a dealership 5 min from my house. There are new stresses, but lowered my overall risk. Customers, employees, regulators, used car fluctuations. Overall happy with decision with no regrets.
@sweatystartup I sent this too my college age kids, getting eye rolls & thumbs down. Idc, those dogs will end up at my house and I don’t want them. Great post Huber, thank you!
@dailydirtnap Day one listed and I have other interest Im sticking to 1.65
Day 150 listed and no offers, I’m keeping 1.495 together whatever that may be. Maybe a soft counter at 1.5, sometimes saying yes to an offer spooks people who are expecting a little negotiation.
