The Board of Control approved the implementation of a 35-second shot clock for boys and girls varsity basketball, beginning with the 2028-29 season. (Vote 10-1)

This will now go to a full membership vote at the 2027 Annual Meeting for final approval prior to implementation, due to the cost imposed on member schools. 🏀 #wiaagb #wiaabb

McFarland 2, Rice Lake 1. Final. Warriors got a goal in the 63rd minute from Paige Baker, with the assist to Stella Scharf. Rice Lake ends the season with a 17-3-3 record, which set a program record for wins in a season.

Rice Lake's Carter Kucko won a Division 2 state title in the 3,200 meters with a state meet record of 9:01.75 on Saturday morning at the WIAA state track and field championships in La Crosse.

Kenny Bednarek 🇺🇸 blew away the field in the men's 200m at the Rabat Diamond League, storming to a Meet Record of 19.69s (0.4).

He eased through ahead of Letsile Tebogo 🇧🇼 who finished strong for 2nd in 19.96s and Sinesipho Dambile 🇿🇦 in 20.03s.

Cheickna Traore 🇨🇮 out of lane 2, ran 20.15s in 4th.
