@AaronGunn You should take this down since it has been disproven that Tanille Johnston had anything to do with the protest. But why would you when it fits your narrative?
My first big project as a Parks Manager is underway. Cambridge Park revitalization. New drainage system, irrigation system, tree lined commuter pathway, and re-grassing. Leaving a planned space for a future playground or community garden.
Officially my last day at Kamloops Golf and Country Club. I started 21 years ago as a back shop kid and spent the last 11 as Superintendent. It has truly been a 2nd home for me. I grew up here, met my wife here, brought my kids to play here. I will miss it. Tough to say goodbye.
#turftwitter please welcome our @KamloopsGCC irrigation tech @kyledpitts to twitter. He will be starting his Turfgrass Management program at Olds College this January. Please give him a follow, as he will be someone you want to keep an eye on!
2/2 - I will miss the staff and ppl at KGCC and am sad to have to say goodbye. After 21 years here (11 as Superintendent) it has truly been a 2nd home to me. I am excited to learn new things and grow as both a manager and as person in my new position. I start at CCR in December!
1/2 - I'm not usually one to make announcements, but since people are asking... I have accepted a position as Parks Manager for the City of Campbell River. It was a difficult decision to leave KGCC, but we felt it was such a great opportunity for our family and myself as a human.
We had a great experience hosting the Canadian All Abilities Championship. There were many incredible players who have overcome so many challenges, it was amazing to see. @GolfCanada@KamloopsGCC
