Going through this book in my cognitive learning theory class. I feel like retrieval practice is really making a difference with my students. I’m just getting started and I can’t wait to try all of the tools. I am really excited to try BBQ (big basket quiz). Baskets on the way.

@AndrewMcGarrity A6: I have my Exit Tickets in a discussion forum format. I think it helps students to see each others responses and get a better feel for how others are taking in the material. They may not share vocally , but they sometimes will digitally.

@AndrewMcGarrity A5: Anything that has the student be creative and learn. I love to have the students create a presentation or project on something they are passionate about. It is very easy to keep them on task that way. Have them make a how to video over something they like .

A4: I didn't see q4 but I assume it is about sharing discovered digital content etc. I definitely share and want it shared with me. Others shared what works for them with me and it has helped. I welcome suggestions anytime and give them when needed.

@AndrewMcGarrity A3: I may be a bit ignorant on this one. I may use OER quite a bit. Open content is often easy to utilize in the classroom due to its open nature. It often tends to have a lot of experienced users to guide the way for those looking to implement it.

@AndrewMcGarrity A2: The challenge for me is having the time to put together good quality digital content. I need the platform to be easy to use and efficient. It needs to be flexible and intuitive so that I'm not fighting technology instead of creating content.
