@durhamcollege They were on the school property. They were physically preventing students from entering the school. I'm glad though that the college cares more about people who are not employees of DC than the students.

I've worked in publishing for 25 years. Today I was scrolling through my @AppleNews feed and opened @Cosmopolitan . I was surprised at the use of language. Is it standard practice now to write casually, using slang and acronyms? I felt like I was reading a blog written by a teen

Wow! 2003, publish one of the first zines and woman’s magazine called MoxieFemme that is for woman that conquers woman’s issues and taboo topics and is considered edgy. 2021 @Netflix creates a show about some teenager that creates a magazine that’s edgy called #Moxie

@Vvajk When my daughter was around 12 I taught her how to apply mascara and bought her a neutral tone eye shadow. If your child wants to wear makeup you won’t be able to stop them so you might as well teach them to wear it tastefully.

@rachlimGNED I think it is possible. More and more textbooks are being published as ebooks, so I think it's where publishing is going.
