Wait… what if the horse symbolizes Jin from Jimin’s perspective? Horses are often associated with freedom, and Jin was the first member to regain that freedom after military service. Jimin looking at the horse could represent him looking toward Jin—the member who was already on the other side, waiting for the rest of them.
At the same time, Jin is shown behind the curtain, looking toward the horse. It’s almost like a parallel: Jimin is looking toward freedom through Jin, while Jin is yearning for the day the rest of the tannies can join him. The curtain feels like the barrier of military service and time itself. One side is waiting to be free, and the other is waiting to be reunited.
I think the world isn't giving BTS enough credits for their incredible storytelling through cinematographic music videos and hauntingly beautiful from their honest emotions, hearts on their sleeves, that even something that is fundamentally monotonous & painful, can be beautiful.
Kpopies are coping saying "b-b-but i-it's n-not a b-b-bts s-song" well yes it was centuries old song then why mexicans didnt sing it in 1998 at their very first Football match against korea? why not in 2022 at least?
“i do my best, but i can’t slow down, this merry go round.”
jin’s line hits so differently when you remember his character has been looping time for a decade just to give the members a happy ending. now, they are trapped on the ride while jin tries to find a way off. again.
Mind you, Jimin dropped whatever he was doing to answer that call from his Jin hyung despite in the middle of video shoot bc he knows those phone calls from the military are limited.
Jimin doesn’t play about his members. Least of all Jin 🥺
“my bed is my coffin” & it’s him standing on coffin bc of military insomnia & members waiting in separate rooms (separated by enlistment) only to finally come back together at end under big dipper waiting for him so they’re whole again as 7 & that’s all it takes to be healed 😭
If you became ARMY after the Olympics in 2024, you might not know this fact. The Olympic teams arrived via boat, and as the South Korean team was introduced on TV, they added a caption that said:
"3 things that represent South Korea.
BTS, kimchi, and hanbok."
That was also the year that our Jin carried the Olympic torch in the very prestigious segment that went to the Louvre.
Jimin is following the You Never Walk Alone carousel from Spring Day.
While being stuck in the carousel/loop of Merry Go Round (military service).
Why Jimin is Following It? The Fear of Being Left Behind.
Jimin is chasing the memory of what BTS used to be. While locked in the military grind, his mind is desperately reaching back to the days of freedom, music, and togetherness. He is trying to hold onto the old promise that “spring will come again,” but it feels impossibly far away.
Some guy pulled up to the World Cup event in a MAGA hat to harass the Mexico supporters and a bunch of Korean dudes stepped up and almost jumped him. This is the closest we’ve ever been to world peace 😭
The members leaving the doors for each other open as they wait for one another to come back & also wait their turns to leave.
And when Seokjin came back from the military, he saw everyone starting to leave for their services.
the reason why Palestine isn’t being seen anymore is because there’s barely any journalists left. Lebanon is going through a severe escalation. Palestine is still going through a genocide. 150k people were killed in Sudan. People in congo are being killed. Don’t stop talking.
