@soupformy_fam 75% of the trash processed at HERC comes from Minneapolis. That's 273,000 tons. It's your garbage and it's not going to magically disappear, so what's the plan? Truck it to a landfill outside of the County? Site and build a $5B incinerator elsewhere? Shoot it into orbit? Ideas?

Why are the entire @MSHSL basketball and hockey tournaments televised, but only the football championships? US Bank Stadium was built as a football/television studio so it should be easy to set things up. I’m sure it would out-draw another rerun of How I Met Your Mother. Anyone?

At Monday's Council Meeting, I was honored to present Mayor Hiromichi Tsuji a special proclamation celebrating the 30th anniversary of @bloomington_mn's Sister City relationship with the city of Izumi, Japan. A special relationship between neighbors more than 6,000 miles apart!
