🌎💧 Restoring Wetlands, Protecting Water 💧🌎
On #WorldWaterDay, we're celebrating the power of collaboration in protecting and restoring wetlands.
Projects like the Carruthers Creek Watershed Management Plan in Ajax show how nature-based solutions—backed by strong partnerships—can help reduce urban flooding, improve water quality, and create thriving habitats.
Working together with incredible partners like Ducks Unlimited Canada and the Town of Ajax, we’re building more climate-resilient communities while protecting the ecosystems that support us all.
Check out our feature in Water Canada to learn more about how we're investing in our water future—one wetland at a time! 💧🌿

🐸🎶 It’s #WorldFrogDay! 🎶🐸
Did you know frogs sing to find mates and defend their territory? 🎤🌿 We’ve been recording their calls for 15+ years, and in 2024, we expanded our efforts with song meters to capture even more data!
🎧 Listen for these local voices in our wetlands:
🔹 American Toad – A long, monotone trill
🔹 Spring Peepers – High-pitched “peeps” 🎶
🔹 Leopard Frog – A low snore followed by grunts 😴
Tracking frog songs helps us monitor wetland health and protect these vital ecosystems. 💚
