@NNeiner1 @kinsellawarren @dkreative1 @Airbnb Yes, they leased the unit, never moved in, sparsely furnished it and rent it on airbnb (with fake host profiles) for parties. And Airbnb still has not removed the hosts' profiles. They have been "investigating" for weeks.

Including video of the fire department showing up bc a man was yelling out the window incoherently with smoke streaming out behind him. Apparently they were using a smoke machine?? But, still the rental continues.

@GuyThompson_Esq @kinsellawarren @dkreative1 @Airbnb I don't want to punish everyone who uses the service. I want Airbnb to remove hosts who are clearly using the platform for this purpose. And yes, lawsuits against the wrongdoers. There is one against the wrongdoer in our building but he still continues to rent it out for parties.

@dkreative1 @kinsellawarren I have used and loved Airbnb for years. But also I do blame @airbnb for allowing problematic party suites and hosts to remain on their platform. We have such a unit next door to us and have complained to airbnb for 6 weeks - with evidence. Yet the hosts are still on there.

@CP24 We have an @Airbnb party suite in the unit next door to us. No tenant - just for Airbnbs and specifically parties. Have been complaining to Airbnb for 6 weeks yet they still allow the hosts on their platform. Their lack of response has been shocking.
