If safety is the priority, keep 4-person minimums on engines or at least guarantee an automatic, rapid second-due arrival so crews can go interior without waiting.
Fire doesn’t wait. Neither should we. 9/9
@AFA975
Let’s lift chief Sneed up in prayer. And let’s question why a District “Official” required an escort. They are not that “special” - Austin ISD deserves Sneed, he’s a great guy, but does not deserve an official that requires an “escort”.
@SirJeremyLondon@LylePSchmee What a simp comment. Much of our city council, and some of our Members of Congress and a current individual running for senate in TX have zero freaking experience, yet here we are, you’re just being tribal.
@KendallGPace@TexasTribune This was under the direction of Maria Carstarphan and some of her minions, which is when I feel the wheels started to come off of AISD’s bus.
So terribly true. I went into teaching as a second career at age 52 and not on-line, at Tx State Post Bacc program, then I went to work for AISD, I resigned during my first contract, I thought Corporate America was crap, this was far worse. I worked my a** off, yet nothing satisfied them. I’ve subbed ever since, almost daily, mostly long term and that’s been more satisfying, and on a campus where I felt respect.
