@HowtoADHD I was very surprised to learn that most people have an intuitive sense of time. They know what time it is, how long things take, and how long they have before their next thing. I was very surprised because it doesn't seem possible. I don't know what it's like.
@HowtoADHD I had a doctor tell me I didn't have ADHD after seeing my medication on my list of medications. He was a Rheumatologist and had just met me 5 minutes prior. I was too surprised to be mad until much later.
@HowtoADHD I have some amber glasses to block blue light and try to remember to put them on in the evening hours before bed. Don't know if it works or if it's the ritual/association, but it helps me feel like it's wind down time. And no screens except e-ink ebook.
@HowtoADHD Changing my work fundamentally to narrow in on what I'm best at and what I love most. It hasn't been easy to get here, but what a difference it makes!

@ArtzMarama @Gabbyv23@HowtoADHD I have a reputation for extreme patience and calmness. I'm simultaneously proud and appalled at this because it's hard-earned and it's still not how I feel.
@HowtoADHD I'd like to be able to openly and publicly talk about my experience and treatment without being immediately challenged on my choice of medication or told that my experience isn't what I say it is.
@HowtoADHD@EhrenW As a fellow short person who's had to change a smoke detector battery at 2am on a vaulted upstairs ceiling, I recommend one of those fancy foldable ladders.

@iwanttobeahydra @liv_png Thank you. I was diagnosed in the middle of college, just barely in time to get back on track. It took me a lot of extra time because I had to retake a bunch of classes. 20 years later, and I still struggle sometimes. But I know why and i have tools to help me.
