Actually this 300 billion bribe to Iran is the the biggest direct investment into green transition away from fossil fuels.
The protection money makes sure that oil prices will consistently stay high while the risk of losing supply stays, if not increases straight away.
@hw97karbine@Tendar I don't know. We don't know what happens next, if they can avoid getting the drone shot down it might be an upside? I never quite understood the logic of these saturation attacks, even when helis do it, I won't understand it now. They'd not do it if it was completely useless.
@hw97karbine@Tendar I thnk it's just a whole new layer of terror for the occupiers. Also, chances are that if you fire enough of these in a dense area like a port, you'll cause some damage (more damage than the drone alone would)
@alojoh@buitengebieden These dogs are not pathetic but specialised. Dachshunds are excellent for hunting and pest control, digging, running, they have insane stamina, but not great at acrobatics.
@Heroiam_Slava While I'm happy as the next fella to see Russian infrastructure being destroyed, the level of economic disaster that is unfolding here is heartwrenching. It shouldn't have come to this...
@DessieSPolitics@Maks_NAFO_FELLA@magyarpeterMP It's not about Austria or Hungary ruling over them but forging a stronger cooperation, a CE bloc, rebuilding V4 and expanding it to more Central European countries. The article's title is entirely false. Clickbait. He said nothing like that.
@DessieSPolitics@Maks_NAFO_FELLA@magyarpeterMP Yeah that's understandable. But even I say it for years now that from Prague to Brasov, it's essentially one culture. A Slovak, a Hungarian and a Romanian have more in common than either of them would admit. We have the weight to stand up to German and French influence together.
@Maks_NAFO_FELLA Could you clarify that Magyar doesn't want an Austo-Hungarian Empire but a cooperation between the countries that once were parts of it, based on shared cultural and historical legacy? The title is bullshit.
@DessieSPolitics@Maks_NAFO_FELLA@magyarpeterMP We had our fair share of wars of independence from Austria (every hundred years or so for 500 years), but the period between the Compromise and WW1 is remembered as "The Happy Peace Times". It's much less about imperialism than nostalgia.
@DessieSPolitics@Maks_NAFO_FELLA@magyarpeterMP The Austrian reported asked his questions in somewhat broken Hungarian so I took it as a grateful wink. Up to this day Hungarians refer to Austrians as the "sógorok" (which translates to brothers-in-law) so culturally it has an entirely different meaning.
@Alex04795003@Maks_NAFO_FELLA He didn't say that. He wants an extended Visegrad format, including the culturally close, former regions of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
