As a visionary, I had to learn to be careful of who I share my visions with. Not everyone can see what I see, and that's ok. But I definitely need to protect myself from doubters and those who can't contribute constructively to the vision until it becomes a reality.
If you actually think customers sit and ponder about what your logo represents or how it relates to what you do, or what the hidden meaning behind it is, you're wrong. No one gives a sh*t.
It should look good and be memorable, period.
At least once a day, I see a startup’s website and think, “I have no idea what this company does.” Don't think I'm alone here.
