@2020_blows @TimSweeneyEpic@technosucks If they win this literally every single player ever, on every platform. Will get cheaper games, and developers will make more money. But yes, lets worry about some fraction of players on one platform in one game cause that is clearly the most important thing here.
@2020_blows @TimSweeneyEpic@technosucks Your only point here is that they agreed to some TOS. Wow incredibly convincing argument. So what. The argument is that the TOS is ridiculous and leverages monopoly status.
Throw players under the bus? What a mind numbingly ridiculous exaggeration.
@ChevyRay This is the classic vlambeer move, I think it was also recommended in a popular Juice Your Game talk which explains its widespread use. I dont mind it, but its gotta be just like 2 frames tops.
@2020_blows @TimSweeneyEpic@technosucks Sweeney is sacrificing mountain of money, on principle, to improve things for all creators and purchasers, and you're worried you cant play a game for a few mths... 🙄
@chetfaliszek @RDKaizhar Your point about 15yrs of gay marriage hits the nail on the head. For 30yrs the party's worked together to enrich the 1%, amd oush war, while giving the veneer of difference by fighting over social issues. They're Pepsi and Coke, one is slightly less socially conservative.
@chetfaliszek @RDKaizhar This is bullshit. Bernie supporters focused more on specific issues than any other candidate, by a country mile. They are actually ONLY interested im change, not supporting "team blue" and Biden offers virtually nothing of real tangible change.
@chetfaliszek @RDKaizhar I think there's a valid point of view that a rock bottom is required to end the current oligarchic system. 30 yrs of 'new democrat' policies gutted the middle class, destroyed the media, and led directly to Trump.
@stephendpalley@TimSweeneyEpic This is all based on a twin fallacies that more education produces a better developer, and that licensing is actually worth more the paper its written on. Some of the most useless devs I know have tons of certs, many of the best, couldn't care less.
@EquityAnalyst2 You guys do realize that musk has $15B equity in SpaceX, and growing rapidly. If you're betting that TSLA goes under, you're smoking space rocks!
