🟥 I have seen Conservatives and their supporters mocking the Prime Minister for Trump’s renewed trade threats.

I have seen Conservatives and their supporters whining about what they believe the Prime Minister has not YET done since the election.

Ironically, them thinking that Mark Carney should have solved EVERY challenge that Canada faces in the mere 3 months he has been Prime Minister, is actually a huge compliment of their belief in his abilities! 🤷🏻‍♂️

So here’s the deal:
Carney stated clearly in his election campaign that, “we Canadians can give OURSELVES a lot more than The US can ever give to us.”
And THAT was going to be the foundation of his approach to the Trade War.

What does that mean?

It means that the best defence of our Nation and our way of life can only be for us to develop and strengthen our OWN economy. 🫴🏼📈

The best defence of our economy can NEVER be to give in it to the whims of a petulant adult-toddler and demented madman, who changes his mind on economic and security matters EVERY other day, depending on how his ego is being threatened or caressed! 🚼

As a side-note: it’s interesting that Trump’s latest attacks on Canada is after Prime Minister Mark Carney had a very successful hosting of the G7 summit, followed by a Europe trip where he signed a historical security and trade agreement with the EU, after which he was the clear star at the NATO summit, with the other Leaders converging around his ideas and his leadership, and displaying a DEEP, renewed respect for him. 🙇🏻‍♂️

All this INCENSED the petty Trump and led him to suddenly take a strike at Canada, over a policy that everyone has known about for a LONG time... 🙄

But I digress - yes; of course The Liberal Govt. will continue to always negotiate with the Trump administration, as best they can.

But to blame the Liberals for TRUMP’s inconsistency, threats and actions, is CRAZY business. 👀

The only person to blame for Trump’s insane threats and actions against our economy is DONALD TRUMP! 🤷🏻‍♂️
Even a multi-skilled leader like Mark Carney cannot be expected to control the thoughts and impulses of a madman...

The best way to protect the Canadian economy from Trump, is to focus on investing in our OWN potential, creating new trade partnerships and positioning ourselves as a STABLE environment that is safe for innovation and investment ( in contrast with the chaos and uncertainty in the US at the moment). 🇨🇦

There will be a challenging transition as we adjust our economy, moving away from outdated practices. However, as these investments take hold, our revitalized economy will thrive. 🚀

That period of pain is inevitable at this point.
But as we go through it, we must remember that TRUMP brought this on us, not Prime Minister Carney. 🤷🏻‍♂️

All WE can do is adapt to the new economic reality, and for that we have the absolute BEST person for the job, currently sitting in the Prime Minister’s office. 🙂👍🏼

Poilievre and his followers mock and deride the Liberal Govt. every time Trump shifts goalposts, or comes up with new deadlines, threats and harmful trade actions.
But ... they must surely be drinking from a well of madness...

Because Trump’s trade war is not against Liberals, it is against our COUNTRY!
Both liberal and conservative supporters are affected, alike! 🤔
To CHEER FOR a foreign madman who is threatening the economy of YOUR country and the livelihoods of you, your family and your community, is INSANE! 🤦🏻‍♂️

This trade war is not Trump vs. Carney.
It’s Trump vs. Canada!

So I’d suggest that it may be best for us ALL to get over ourselves and our PERSONAL political preferences, for now. 🤷🏻‍♂️
The election is over.
It is now time to put down the partisan swords (temporarily), and throw our support behind Team Canada, in this battle for our survival and renewal. 🔄🇨🇦

Because cheering on Trump, and mocking the Canadian Government whenever he acts against our economy, is absolutely CRAZY business. 🤌🏼

The ‘One Canadian Economy’ Act has been passed in the House of Commons which will serve as the foundation for the “Time to Build” strategy.
At the same time PM Carney has successfully galvanized the democratic world to work together to build a NEW era of trade and innovation, and he continues to attract massive interest for new potential investments to Canada. 📈

Part of that plan is that Carney will also eventually provide a safe environment for UNITED STATES companies that need/desire stability and a business climate that is free from chaos ... to have the option to move, to Canada. 🙂
This is how we fight back!
That’s how we turn the CHAOS wrought on us, into music. 🎶

And this is a marathon not a sprint...
But the pieces are coming together.

So, yes .... Pierre’s followers who criticize Prime Minister Carney for all of Trump’s crazy actions against our Country, are being disingenuous.

Because they KNOW that the only other alternative to stop the madness, is to give Trump EVERYTHING he wants – in essence, to bring Canada to heel and make us the 51st State.

And that is never, EVER going to happen.

So, I hope you will join Team Canada. 🙂🍁

But even if you don’t, Mark Carney, the Liberal Government, and the majority of the Canadian people who are not so mired in toxic partisanship (aka Team Canada) will be UNDETERRED, and will never stop doing what is best for our Nation (not what is best for Trump).

And we will eventually win.
