@DocLibertarian If you look at the Euro players many played soccer before basketball. The height wouldn't be useful. The players like Steph, Dame, Nash would be a better argument. Would we have a better pool yes, but not all players who are good now would be good at soccer.
@acmilanchampo21@GMillar1874 American cities were walkable, unfortunately suburbia and car culture destroyed that. It is possible to go back to walkability, just have to make an effort to do so.
@WhatTheForkAVFC It feels maybe a bit of both. Self deprecation and some belief that England can win it. You have been let down so many times after being hyped up that it became a bit of a joke.
@CoreyWriting The US has many places beat on beauty, and food. It fails on basic living for its citizens. Terrible healthcare, poor infrastructure, government that only cares about enriching a few elites at the expense of everyone else. We have no guaranteed sick, job, or financial protections
The 2nd US game should be in San Francisco, followed by Seattle. A trip up the west coast would have been great for people. Instead there are two games in Los Angeles.

@VillaWaffle As a person who doesn't live in Birmingham, I would rather live in Turin over Birmingham. He has been in England for a while and wants a fresh start and some place near to live out his final playing years.
