Rotorua has so much stuff to do! Like every town we ended up visiting in #NZ, I wished we’d had more time.
Something fun for everyone is the @treewalknz. I’m glad we… https://t.co/nn4NXRTiTZ
Loved hearing about past royal visits during the tour. At Harry and Meghan’s @treewalkNZ engagement I met Helen, whose great-great-grandfather Mita Taupopoki (a Māori chief) guided the future Queen Mother and King George IV around in 1927: “It was a proud moment for my family.”
Taking a stroll along the Redwoods Treewalk in Rotorua, a series of 23 suspension bridges traversing the gaps between 22 majestic 100-year old trees, each with their own living deck to ensure viewing platforms adapt to the trees’ rapid growth without any harm. #RoyalVisitNZ
Their Royal Highnesses went to Redwoods, Whakarewarewa Forest where they learnt about the history of the Redwoods Forest while taking part in the treewalk between 117 year old trees. Afterwards they met with representatives of the local biking community.

We're a bit EXCITED that Prince Harry & Meghan Markle will visit Whakarewarewa Forest today! They'll see first-hand the ecosystem services & benefits to regional economies that forests can provide 🌲👑👩🏼🔬👍 😉#RoyalVisitNZ#RoyalTour#RoyalTourNZ https://t.co/yuC9a45oKw
