I stand with Imane Khelif ✊ This poor woman is being dragged through the mud because of rampant transphobia in society.

First, there is no concrete evidence that she has XY chromosomes. The only source for that came from the Russian president of the IBA, a corrupt organization, in a Russian telegram post. Nothing concrete has been released. No tests. Nothing. This Telegram post came after Khelif beat a Russian boxer. Go figure.

Second, because she doesn’t meet trad beauty standards, she’s being called a man. Every single thing about her is now being transvestigated. Every move she makes. Every punch she delivers. It’s all under intense scrutiny because of a lie.

Third, major accounts like @jk_rowling & @elonmusk are continuing to defame her despite evidence to the contrary.

Lastly, since no concrete evidence of XY chromosomes exists, and this is all hearsay & rumors, Khelif deserves an apology. However, that will never happen. Transphobes will just double down & never admit they were wrong.

This should be a cautionary tale of how fast disinformation can spread & also show just how transphobic society really is. It’s never been about protecting women & children.
