For quite a while,I’ve had this wild idea to see if I could mix #Cthulhu, pulp adventure storytelling and Christian mysticism into a #ttrpg. So without futher ado, I give you the Seraphim Club, now available on the Miskatonic Repository. @Chaosium_Inc

You can scoop this baby up through the #MiskatonicRepository through @DriveThruRPG for a measly $2. If enough people buy it, I'll invest in better production, art and layout next time around. (I'm afraid I had to handle the layout all by myself for this one.

I’m not sure if there are many people at the center of this particular Venn diagram, but I’ve found my mind returning to the concept over and over for literally the last couple years. A little bit of the Pope's Exorcist mixed with Indiana Jones.
My hometown literally has a population of like 500, and its beyond unlikely that it would ever get immortalized in an influential D&D module. You can learn how that weird development took place in an old story I wrote for EN World.

On Saturday, Mike Carr, the author of the immortal B1 module for #DnD, and Tim Wadzinski of @GoodmanGames, visited my hometown, which is the namesake of the famous Caverns of Quasqueton. Soooo cool to get to meet them!

Going back to my tiny hometown of Quasqueton, Iowa, this weekend to celebrate its surprising connection to one of the most influential #DnD locations of all time.

@gameinformer Anyway, I just want to reiterate with @Konami that if they ever want to make an officially licensed Silent Hill tabletop RPG, I'm their guy. It would be my absolute dream project.
Super intrigued by @SHAscension. I'm so starved for new Silent Hill content, I just hope this new experiment captures the sense of isolation and mystery that make SH so powerful. And that weird balance between horror and beauty. It's a tough thing to nail down, but I'm hopeful!
.@gameinformer says Ascension takes place before the first two SH games, but the writers are cagey about a specific time period. I like that. #SilentHill works best when it's kinda dreamlike, when time and space don't operate how we expect.

I remember being simultaneously terrified of finding out what would happen next in the story but also totally compelled to keep playing because the mystery was so powerful. I'd feel exhausted after playing the game for an hour or so and would have to take breaks.
Silent Hill 2. My favorite game of all time. It not only changed how I thought about horror and video games, but it shaped my view of art and how it can make something beautiful out of very ugly subject matter.
My first playthrough of SH2 was a profound turning point for me.
Hey this is cool! A fan film based on a Star Trek Adventures scenario I wrote called "A Cure Worse Than The Disease." The production team even gave me a "Based on a story by..." credit. That's a first for me!
