Even with really good regen, stopping and starting will always be less efficient than running at a continuous speed. If you stay below 60mph on the highway you should get close to the listed range

@Adam_and_EVs I drove a 2016 model S for about two years. The range estimates were pretty much spot on if I drove at 55mph. Look at the difference wheel selection makes to range and you can see how much wind resistance matters. Unfortunately wind resistance increases exponentially with speed
