@HMRCgovuk @HMRCcustomers I raised a complaint, that’s how I found out about the P11D so the complaint has been closed.
I’m now filling in more forms and writing letters to get my money back. My tax code has also been reduced due interest from my bank account!

So HMRC have messed up pension calculations, going back many years. In my experience the system and process have not kept pace with a changing world.

@HMRCgovuk @HMRCcustomers Further, taking my first drawdown I’m on an emergency tax code and have already paid my tax liability for this FY in just the one drawdown payment. None of this seems fair. How many others are in my position? We’re offsetting money HMRC are chasing elsewhere.
