The official DHS report confirms the suspect had a gun and resisted, yet y’all are siding with the person who pulled a weapon on federal agents. It feels like common sense has completely evaporated in this country. It doesn't matter who you are—if you pull a gun on federal officers, there is only one outcome. The fact that this is even a debate shows how lost we are. We need to stop coddling lawlessness and start getting back to personal responsibility. Prayers for the officers forced into that impossible situation.

According to Pew, approximately 14 million unauthorized immigrants reside in the United States today, with California, Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois hosting the largest populations. Such a demographic impacts representation and appropriations as congressional seats and federal dollars are based on how many people are in an area, not just citizens.

However, none of these people can vote legally. But their presence indicates why national standards of voter ID are required. Every citizen should be able to vote without hassle, and every vote should be secured by a free, easy, and effective means of identification to prove citizenship.

Election integrity shouldn't be based on geography. A national voter ID law that is implemented for all Americans across the country for free would increase accessibility and integrity. It's not a matter of excluding anyone. It's a matter of responsibility and integrity.

California just voted in favor of Proposition 50. Essentially, Gavin Newsom and the Democrat-run legislature are free to map out new congressional districts as they see fit. With a range of 1-5 additional House seats for Democrats via this partisan attack on the independent redistricting council established from the outset, it's a systematic abuse of taxpayer funding.

This isn't democracy. This isn't reform. When politicians play from the mentality of choosing their voters rather than voters choosing their politicians, something is incredibly wrong.

Gavin Newsom plays "representation" as if it were a game. He does this despite homelessness, increased crime, and an oppressive cost of living across the Golden State, and failing to turn attention back to those who enabled him to gain power in the first place. He just needs a few more representations to ensure his status of power is locked in for the foreseeable future.

As a Christian conservative, it's disgusting. Faith supports fairness and honesty. Freedom supports equity in whose voices are heard as long as they tally up your vote. Whether one gets to be accepted into an honest tomorrow or besmirched by the game depends on whether we accept the reality or allow ourselves to be fooled by the illusion.

If California ever hopes to move forward, it needs honor and accountability, and those in power need to prioritize people over party. Voters deserve fair maps - and fair representation.

There's a viral video making rounds today where Jay Jones is completely out of control. If this is the man who wants to be trusted with justice for Virginians, I feel bad for those who support him. This is after he once admitted to sending violent texts years ago and had to apologize for it, too. At some point, people and their patterns develop.

I believe in real repentance, but real repentance requires change. Leadership is a privilege, not a position. When someone constantly responds with rage and arrogance, it's not a mistake…it's a red flag.

Jones's platform reflects the same deficiency. He champions increased government intervention, softened sentencing, and programs that sound nice but fail elsewhere. Violence-interruption efforts and law enforcement micromanagement have produced mixed or adverse results in Chicago and New York. Good intentions without wisdom create anarchy.

The Gospel supports temperance, humility, and stewardship. The government should embody the same values. When government leaders do not govern themselves accordingly, innocents are at risk. True justice protects the vulnerable and confines evil. True liberty secures responsibility, not dependency. Virginians deserve leaders who are held to that standard.

We can forgive a man, but we cannot forget past patterns that put others in danger. Our future depends on character just as much as competence. Faith, freedom, and truth must mean more than just partisan platitudes.

I'm a Christian Conservative, and what's happening in New York City is heartbreaking...

Guaranteed rent freezes. Free buses. Even grocery stores run by the city. This is socialism, according to Zohran Mamdani. Sounds great. Sounds humanitarian. But there is no such thing as free. Something costs when it comes to free.

When government intervention is allowed for free, it means that it can come crashing down even harder. Just look at Venezuela. The richest country in South America is now defunct, with socialism revitalizing it, making everything free. But what happened? Over 700% inflation in pricing, businesses shuttered, unemployment at around 30%, millions of people in poverty because their leadership wanted to give free to all, but it was never sustainable for a nation this size.

This is what New York will become if it continues its trends of big government and bigger taxes. Small businesses will shut down, jobs will dwindle, and those whom they are trying to help will be first in line to suffer.

Faith determines who is responsible for what, and man is a steward of the resources around him and should be held accountable; freedom breeds creation, work, ability, and then helping others.

Then it's up to people to either learn from their mistakes or repeat them.

It's disheartening for a nation that once was so powerful with so much potential to welcome change, disregard freedom, and fail.

New York doesn't need socialism; New York needs strong families, strong faith, and strong freedom moving forward.
