My abortion is the kind people love to judge the most. I wasn’t underage, I wasn’t assaulted, and there was no medical emergency. I got pregnant because I knowingly had unprotected sex, no accident, no rare failure, just my own choices.

By their standards, it was “irresponsible.” I knew abortion was an option, and I took it. Not because I couldn’t survive it or raise a child, I simply didn’t want one. I wanted sex without becoming a parent, and I chose not to carry the pregnancy.

There’s no redemption arc here. I don’t regret it. Nothing terrible happened to me afterward, no punishment, no downfall. My life is still good. And that reality alone challenges everything people like to assume about women who make this choice.

Most conservatives think they are defending a way of life, but they’ve still largely incapable of actually wielding the sort of power that would be necessary to uphold it.

In a crisis, they might be able to tell you who the enemy is, but they still see the decisive use of force to combat that enemy as somehow spiritually tainted.

Conservatives want the benefits of civilization without the burden of sovereignty. They want things like order and prosperity, but they want them without anyone ever having to act like a ruler.

And that’s just not how the world works. Peace, prosperity, and even liberty itself are all downstream from power.

Leftists have long since run out of arguments, and the institutions they historically relied on to indoctrinate the public into going along with their insane demands have lost all credibility and are collapsing all around them.

So they’re resorting to Plan B, which is to just shoot their enemies.

We saw this before with Charlie Kirk. We saw it even earlier with the numerous prior attempts to murder President Trump. And we will continue to see it until these people either get their way or are destroyed.

One of my deepest fears is that the nationalist backlash we see against progressive managerial globalism is ultimately doomed to failure because “nationalism” as most people understand it is a product of liberal modernity.

The reactionary forces that attempted to turn the clock back on the French Revolution warned about this. To be a nationalist once meant to be a liberal, and to be Right-wing once meant to embrace transcendence and hierarchy.

The Liberal Nationalist of the early 19th century declared that the supreme political principle lay in organizing his folk into a single political entity. The Right-wing Traditionalist of that same era responded by asserting the higher must rule over the lower. There can be overlap at times between these two things, but they are not one and the same.

And yet, nationalism remains one of our only tools left to fight with because liberalism has long since hijacked or dismantled every other institution that stood in its way.

Most likely, I think the truth is somewhere in between. Nationalism may be tactically necessary for obvious reasons at the moment, but it is metaphysically inadequate to completely address the crisis at hand.

Even if we totally closed off our borders to foreign immigration and deported everyone who clearly has no business here, that wouldn’t change the fact that an enormous number of heritage Americans are essentially infected with a totalizing ideology that produced this demographic crisis to begin with.
