@Rbrueford @FirstBSA@Collinsejordan I can speak for myself and those I know in the community: the bus is unreliable. When I've tried to take it, it's not there. It's too risky to rely on it. What percentage of 47s have been on time? Do you have any data to back up claims the buses are reliable? Because they aren't.
@FirstBSA@Collinsejordan Have you looked into why there are low numbers? The bus only comes once an hour and EVERY time I've tried to take it it's not there! It should be made more reliable, not cancelled. This is our ONLY local bus!
For anyone who says being trans is unnatural, just look at all the animals whose gender and sex fall far outside of our ideas of what is 'normal'.
Did you know a hen can physically become a rooster? Amazing!

@AWumman @TransActualUK@NHSuk @AWumman I hear you. The problem is not just about trans folks' care, it is about the systematic underfunding and dismantling of the NHS for 20 years. You deserve better, we all do. ♥
Very proud to have been able to write this report for @TransActualUK. Some key findings below (thread):
Average waiting times for surgery (after waiting for GIC referrals and initial appointments...) were more than 2.5 years (983 days).
It's taken a lot of work and it's finally here. Read our report into trans people's experiences of medical transition in the UK.
The TransActual Transition Access Survey 2022:

@TransActualUK Waiting times + unecessary barriers mean those financially able are turning to private care, including 91% who had hair removal & 54% who took hormones.
The lack of access to sufficient hair removal and facial feminisation surgery through the NHS are real issues for many.
@TransActualUK Many-year waiting times have many negative impacts for trans people, including:
👉 mental health (87% waiting for hormones, 84% for surgery)
👉physical health (78% waiting for hormones, 62% for surgery)
👉social lives (61% waiting for hormones, 62% for surgery)
@TransActualUK Trans folks responding to @TransActualUK's survey had already spent an average of £5,573 on their transitions.
Surgery and/or hair removal cost over £10,000 for many, with just 20% saying that hair removal offered by the NHS had been sufficient.

With the amount of things going wrong in the world today, why oh why would you focus your energy on discriminating against a very small group of the population?
#LGBAlliance is a hate group. They are wasting everyone's time. We should be coming together to solve the real issues!
It's literally been less than two months since everyone hated him and we saw how much he'd lied and decided the rules didn't apply to him. If #BringBackBoris is all you got, clearly it's time for a #GeneralElectionNow!
@vegan_jenny When our future / past PM Boris Johnson says so, as far as I can tell!! 😭😭😭😭 @vegan_jenny we may have to come join you in Germany soon at this rate!!
