@RedNinetyFour Not to mention the DFS signing was a disaster, and signing Capela, while nostalgic, was also likely a misuse of funds

[Trent Johnson @trentsjohnson]

@RedNinetyFour Will be interesting to see how the FO tap dances the line between "this team isn't good enough, so we need another aging star" and "bad injury luck, not our year." While both CAN be true, it seems ridiculous to blow up a team they haven't even seen at full strength yet...

TFW
you gonna miss Dillion Brooks more than the first guy drafted in the rebuild

[Trent Johnson @trentsjohnson]

@tim_cato Agreed, very excited for Reed

@Stunna999_ Their bench.

@highbrow_nobrow @atrupar Name one state that promotes “communist ideology” — the strawman arguments these people make to drive their hateful agendas are just going to make our society dumber, which is probably the goal because it’s easier to control an ill-informed population

If only I'd known the thing between superstardom and me was my last name...

[The New York Times @nytimes]

From @TheAthleticFC: Real Madrid’s newest player, Trent Alexander-Arnold, is rebranding as “Trent.” It could make him a superstar. https://t.co/HaNZeK2rsd

[Trent Johnson @trentsjohnson]

@ftank58 If it’s JG and Jabari — in terms of just basketball — how do you think that plays out?

[Trent Johnson @trentsjohnson]

@AdamSpolane That would be negotiating in bad faith, have to give to get

[Trent Johnson @trentsjohnson]

Rockets fans on here want the team to improve but don’t want to give up ANY assets, and that’s just not how this works; this isn’t 2K

[Trent Johnson @trentsjohnson]

@jtb1012 Comparing Jabari to KD is a bit of an overstatement, no?

[Trent Johnson @trentsjohnson]

@horohorofrom3 Problem with this line of thought is that while, yes, they are very young, the contracts are going to start becoming expensive: Jabari and Tari due for extensions this year, Amen next year (he’ll get the max) and if Jalen does reach all-star level, he can opt out for a huge max

OKC grifted to a much needed win, respect
