took me going from closing $20k/mo in someone else's business to $60k/mo solo (only employee is ai) to actually understand what it was.

the reason this works and the basic retainer model doesn't is simple. retainers make you a vendor.

this makes you a partner. vendors get replaced when they're inconvenient.

partners are embedded so deep that removing them breaks things. that's should be your fcking goal.
