“I’m part of my times,” she said. “I’d like to transcend my times, but the times themselves have a good deal to do with who I am.”
-Rydra Wong in Samuel R. Delaney’s Babel-17
I’m an atheist. I don’t care if someone is religious and I have a lot of respect for people of faith (actual faith not cultural identity). I’ll even participate in prayer to whatever extent I think is appropriate to show respect. I know there’s no sky daddy but I’m not offended. So long as no oneness tries to force me to follow their religious laws or practices then we’re cool.
I think you’re sparring shadows friend.
@Jase147819796@TabGames3@AutixTheCore@NauniNyx@Sonderisfon Brother no one cares if you pray or say merry Christmas. It’s that yall expect everyone to treat you like you’re right when we don’t believe the same things. I’m sure a lot of you would suddenly remember the constitution if Muslim coaches were leading prayers with their teams.
@elonmusk Well I was gonna sit this one out but you convinced me liberty is on the line!
I’ll be voting blue down ballot. Thanks for the encouragement.
@UncleSteveOG “It’s inconceivable that anyone could disagree with me without being mentally handicapped” is about as stupid if a position or worldview anyone could have.
@MarkMantis What’s crazy is that he bought this platform only to find out exactly how unpopular he is. He gets booed everywhere he goes (if he goes anywhere at all cuz I’m sure he’s still scared of being assassinated at any time). He knows how much of his apparent support is botted and fake.
