@atrupar “Who else would remember those numbers,” he asks. As he gives 6 different numbers for what he calls “four or five” nights.
To be fair, once you get past 3, numbers get really really hard. For toddlers.
@cnnbrk At this point, any headline that reports on Trump saying an agreement is close but doesn’t include the phrase “once again” is guilty of bad journalism.
The Ayatollah, said to me, he had tears in his eyes, he's a big, strong man, very strong legs, you just want to pinch them, he said, the tears were just streaming down, "you're a great leader, the best, but always the fake news media is tearing you down. We don't understand it."
@atrupar Not that it matters, but the number of US military deaths in Vietnam was about 58,000. A big number, but not the “hundreds of thousands” Trump regularly claims.
Just another reminder that he has absolutely no clue about anything he ever talks about.
@ReichlinMelnick I think another important point to be made here is that even if they WERE paid protestors, it doesn’t matter. Paying someone to protest is not a crime.
Why is the DHS wasting time and resources investigating something that isn’t a crime?
Truman was a HUGE proponent of the UN because he believed that the US could not act alone if the world was to avoid catastrophe.
He would have despised Trump and how he is treating allies, retreating toward isolationism, and “acting” as a “super power.”
Donald Trump is the first president since Truman to understand and execute the might of a sole global superpower. And we aren’t going to share it with people who hate us this time.
If the answer were “no, it’s not a war crime,” then that’s what he could have easily said.
But the preening war criminal couldn’t say that for some reason. Perhaps he doth protest a bit too much.
REPORTER: If the response is hitting bridges and electrical infrastructure, how is that not a war crime?
HEGSETH: That's precisely the kind of disingenuous question I'm used to from the media -- impugning the motives of the folks on our side
We set out to make sure the Strait of Hormuz was closed, that a younger, more radical regime would be in charge, that Iran would still have nuclear material, that our own inflation would go up, and that we would still be shooting each other?
Wow—that’s a bad list of goals.
@atrupar The basic follow up question to this is “please, explain to us the context; and if you can’t, then describe in what POSSIBLE context would that statement be okay?”
@RightWingWatch And apparently Donald Trump was not raised by a family that understood how to not act like a spoiled 5-year old who throws hissy fits when people ask him questions.
I mean if we’re going to do this, why not just buy ads of Donald Trump on video saying he wants to rape kids or whatever? They wanna play the game, let’s play the game.
Let's be clear about what happened: DOGE cut the programs and staff that tracked dangerous outbreaks like screwworm.
So this has nothing to do with Joe Biden, but Trump and DOGE definitely screwed our cattle industry.
@atrupar Wow. Can’t make it because of EPA issues and war.
How fortunate that last night there weren’t any EPA issues and there wasn’t a war going on. How unfortunate that both things sprang up immediately after they left the game.
@BenRossTweets@atrupar Look, some might say that Mike Johnson is a Furry who takes crack and who sells himself on the weekends.
There’s no evidence of it. But that’s only because his actions are so diabolical.
See how stupid that sounds?
