@redraidertech Sorsby gambled at the following ages - 18, 19, 20, 21 and as a 22-year-old AFTER his transfer to TT. I commend him for finally getting help, but rewarding him with many millions more isn't the solution, just like giving an alcoholic free booze isn't a good idea.
@davidjsmith1232 The Jazz taking Peterson might fuel those rumors - Brown coming here and Peterson going to Boston in return (along with other things to make salaries match) might be enough to get Boston interested. We'll see.
@davidjsmith1232 Golden State for Jimmy Butler and picks, actually makes a ton of sense for the Warriors, and gets the Celtics some cap relief if it doesn't work out.
@ArtTakesNote Based on what other guys got paid (or are getting paid) next season, Walker's right to feel that 20-25 is a low-ball offer. Jakob Poeltl is going to get $27 and $29 million in 2027-28 and 2028-29, and Walker's far superior to him.
@iwasmmueller88 2 - He can clearly look at the market and see that guys like Jokic, Embiid, AD, Adebayo and Towns are clearing $55 million a year, then the next tier is guys like Sabonis ($45 mil), Rudy ($36 mil), and Sengun ($35 mil) and his agent will argue he's worth $28-30 mil a year.
@iwasmmueller88 He's seeing guys like Jarrett Allen and Jakob Poetl getting $28-29 million and saying "I'm better than them, pay me more." It's normal posturing in a contract negotiation.
@TechAthletics@TexasTechFB Translation: Brendan already spent all of the NIL money at DraftKings and so we have no choice but to get him eligible so that our money wasn't wasted in vain.
@pj_schreiner How do you know these guys wouldn't dominate the Spurs and OKC? Played under 1998 rules, with stronger players and no flopping, the Bulls would definitely dominate. Chet and Wemby would be crying about Rodman every time down the court!
