So far in this Bowl season, SEC schools have 1 win against a P4 school (TX over Mich), 1 win over a G6 school ( Ole Miss over Tulane), and 2 wins against conference opponents. That is all. But of course the SEC is a superior conference.

@stoolpresidente Fine with this but you need to take a hard look at who is involved in the AP poll as well. Plenty of people vote that have no true visibility of the games played. The AP poll's influence during the season greatly influences the perception leading into the CFP.

@AaronSchiro @DanWetzel The real issue is the weekly polls that kept Tennessee ranked too high and inevitably skews the perception of the committee for far too long into the season.

CFP suggestion... No more OOC games. Every team plays a 10-wk in-conference schedule. Playoffs start in Week 11 with 56 teams (top 8 get byes). 6 week tournament. This puts 6-10 teams in per P4 conference and leaves plenty room for G5 teams as well.

@danorlovsky7 @geoffschwartz @EricMacLain Texas wouldn't qualify for the semi-finals in their own conference if the SEC had a 2-weekend tournament. That is why they should be out. Alabama has a really bad OOC loss but we are looking past that because they took care of their conference schedule.
