The illegal junta should not use the COVID pandemic against the peoples of Myanmar. It must cooperate with international community, INGOS, UN, and local CBOs to quickly deliver whatever is needed for all peoples.

The torching of crops, livestock and 200 of 230 homes in the village of Kinma in Magwe, where at least 2 elderly residents perished, is not only outrageous, it is yet more evidence of probable crimes against humanity being committed by the Myanmar junta and its security forces.
“Reports that the junta has burned down an entire village in Magway, killing elderly residents, demonstrate once again that the military continues to commit terrible crimes and has no regard for the people of #Myanmar."
Dan Chugg, British Ambassador
The military is continuing with its ‘scorched earth’ tactics of the past. Well-documented for decades by local grps, this is not new though nonetheless devastating. The junta set fire in Magwe where two elderly ppl who could not escape died in their home. https://t.co/ryl6TfD3ld
