@MarleyBlonsky@unboundgravel Thanks for the recap. Congratulations on your finish. It was a tough day out there and everyone who attempted it should be super proud.
@meandertail Haha, I stupidly said, โhey, youโre <his name> from YouTubeโ at an expo once. He was very gracious.
At least I restrained myself from following with โyouโre shorter than you look in your videos.โ
@DrRachaelF Who thought that up? The oldest Gen-Xer was seven when Watergate happened and half of us werenโt born yet. Challenger is probably it, but I always go with M-TV. It was the beginning of the switch to the technology world.
@EllieYellu@NeolithicSheep Hereโs a video of the researcher who did the large double blind study discussing her results.
TL; DR up to 2,000 IU is fine. Might help depending on your current situation. Aside from that, no shown benefit.

@PurelyNumbers@porkrind I do forensic accounting, charged by the hour. By the time someone gets to me, they are in trouble. My original point was some business owners just donโt see the value in proper accounting so they donโt want to pay for it. Many of them never see consequences.
@PurelyNumbers@porkrind My business is fixing broken books, so I never get to start with clean books. I was just relaying the reasons why the business owners I have met get into the spot they are in.
@PurelyNumbers@porkrind Letโs say it costs $25K to fix three years of bad books. Thatโs still cheaper than hiring a knowledgeable bookkeeper for three years, if you can find one.
@PurelyNumbers@porkrind Business owners do not see the value in good books because they canโt read them anyway. There is no immediate consequence for a bad set of books. Itโs not until they have to get a loan or are audited that they care.
@ChristnNitemare@KillerMartinis โShackingโ according to ChatGPT:
Living together without being married, especially in a romantic or sexual relationship
โDancing" or "partying" in certain contexts, particularly in relation to reggae music
A vulgar slang term used to refer to sexual intercourse
@PurelyNumbers I became comfortable with it once I didnโt care anymore whether I got the business or not. Iโm way too busy already, so Iโm actually relieved when people turn me down.
