I like Cleveland but I don’t live there; Phoenix is where I hang my hats (7 3/8). Amateur 🥊 / Sports Byline gave me a radio show (M/T 10 pm, SAT, 9 am pacific)
Larry Doby's historic career showed that progress isn’t just made once — it’s made league by league, city by city.
Designate July 5 as Larry Doby Day @MLB.

Cooper Ingle definitely got a pass on the blunder from Al & Chris that he would not have gotten from Matt & Rick. I get that you don’t crucify the kid endlessly but they were coddling him as the play unfolded.
No matter how much fun I have on vacation, it’s always nice to be right here at home. Everything I go back to Northeast Ohio for, I have it here in different way. Friends, family, food; it isn’t the exact same, but it’s good. Not ashamed to be from there, but certainly proud to call Arizona my home.
Been trying to do things in Cleveland I can’t do back him in AZ. So far, Il Rione, East Coast Custard, Lawons Chip Dip, Mr. Hero, and Barberton Chicken have all been hits. I already know I’ve got to get DanDee Cheese Curls and Snyder of Berlin BBQ chips to take home.
I’m staying in Lyndhurst and there are hundreds of signs featuring pictures of firefighters with their names lining Ridgebury from Richmond to Brainerd. Is this a Firefighter Memorial weekend or something along those lines? #HonorTheFallen
I don’t think I hate UA as much as an ASU fan is supposed to but I can definitely separate the college team from the pro team and I definitely welcome Koa Peat to the @Suns. Also Pat Listach over Kenny Lofton for Rookie of the Year was bullshit!
It’s sad that someone would feel compelled to write an article like this.
Within this Atlantic article, the writer strains against the joy that’s been expressed by our foreign World Cup guests, and tries to find evidence of its falseness.
He is unable to.
I have saved you the trouble of reading the article. Enjoy all the happy videos instead.
And @TheAtlantic, you would gain many subscribers if you were to instead print the obvious piece about the joy being expressed. And also pull some happiness to yourself in associating with this joy.
In basketball, yes. 2001 Diamondbacks, 2001 Patriots, 2004 Red Sox, 2007 NY Giants, 2010 Blackhawks, 2016 Cubs belong in the conversation. Hockey 1st timers, SF Giants/Chiefs runs, Eagles upsets hard to ignore. HM: ‘11 Mavs, ‘26 Knicks
Do the Cavs own the most memorable championship of the 21st century? #LetEmKnow@Nickpedone12 speaks to how memorable the comeback truly was. 🏀

@Burritoexp I tend to default to what’s close to home for my burritos. I need to plan a field trip south or southeast to taste what I see everyone rave about on here.
It’s never a good idea to eat Arby’s.
It’s a worse idea when doing any physical training.
So anyway, I’m off to the gym and thinking the Horsey sauce was a bad idea.
I’d like to think we’ve evolved to the point where conservatives crusading against homosexuality is outdated and using biblical references as the crutch to justify its alleged immorality is weak. I also happen to think that biblical references describing alternative interpretations of a rainbow are harmless. Sometimes it’s best to just turn the other cheek and stop making everything so combative. It’s wonderful that MLB is so inclusive, even if they can’t force everyone to participate.
PS: They just want to sell more merch and make more money
@tubingtyler1@SeaWorld I grew up about a half hour from the one in Ohio. There was a roller coaster park across the lake from it. I always hated going there because it was less fun than the theme park. I’m glad I don’t miss it.
Poolboy Tacos: It’s a shame I didn’t get back to Enchiladas & Soup after my one visit there a few years back because I liked it . Today, I was made aware of some ridiculous “influencer” review that mentioned the food was mediocre but no real specifics as the crux of her review was her disgust about racial demographic of the owners. People like that can get bent, and honestly I’d mind my own business if this person didn’t post that garbage to the World Wide Web in desperate search of public approval for the nonsense. I’m probably going to venture over to Poolboy sooner than I would have as a result.
Whether he’s on the lineup card or not José Ramírez is the heart and soul of this @CleGuardians ball club. This is still a first place team and I believe they can hold it down until he returns. Here’s hoping all of Saturday’s wounded heal up quickly.
@ThePhoenixSuns2@AmicoHoops I was thinking about how Kerr refused to give Cleveland Stat (for nickels on the dollar) to counter Garnett (and they settled for Jamison) but I quickly realized this is a Gilbert-Ishbia reference.
