@MintamenaPie@USCPSC@MGAEnt The spa ones say "8+ recommended" and I've seen spa/bath science toy kits for 6+ with the same ingredients (photo) so that one might be okay. But yeah I feel like this means Zuru Mini Brands should also be recalled.
@MintamenaPie@USCPSC@MGAEnt I don't believe ANY of the spa kits have resin in them. They're supposed to make genuine little bath products, and I've now had 2 of the 3 kit types (bath bomb and sugar scrub). The last type is mini-soap. They all come with a scented oil and some like, have jojoba or something.
@MintamenaPie@USCPSC@MGAEnt This isn't including the Mini Verse Make It Mini Spa I think? But uh. @USCPSC will this also apply to Zuru's Mini Brands: Make It Mini toys? They include UV glue/UV curing resins. (The first 3 photos are mine from target today.) marketed as okay if you're over 36 months??
@USCPSC@MGAEnt Which I guess leads me to the question of — could this kind of product be relaunched as an adult miniature hobby item with more sufficient/extensive warnings about resin? (More generally: I do think too many *adults* underestimate resin risks and safety measures needed).
@USCPSC@MGAEnt I basically explained the recall reasons listed here (resin being a skin/lung irritant, heating when curing, etc), and then said it wasn't really a kid's toy and I didn't know why it was marketed that way. Go figure!
I'm not an influencer of any kind or anything and I don't like ...earn money or anything but I actually feel very proud that I've gotten 22 people to try YNAB since January lol. Restarting my budget for the year also made me think I should look into personal finance certification
So that's a brag but also I cared very much about doing a good job, lol. Idk having anxiety and ADHD motivated me a lot to be the person that I sometimes need haha. Customer panic spiraling or paralyzed by guilt? My job was to cut through the brambles and show them paths to take!
1) for the self: I take continuing ed classes at @PAFAcademy! My mom got me a membership at PAFA for my last birthday which gives me a discount on classes + gives free admission there & many other museums!
2) practical: Bissell carpet cleaner lol. "Home care" is a budget!
Have been away from this Twitter partly bc Twitter sucks and also partly because I'm upending my entire life to try and learn to drive and move into a new apartment by June and it's v stressful.
James D. Walsh reports on the Adderall shortage. Ascent Pharmaceuticals’s feud with the DEA is exacerbating the ADHD medication crisis — at a rate of 600 million missing doses a year. https://t.co/crS9ejbjpy
A hyperfocus is different than an interest.
If someone is interested in something, they engage with it in their free time. When someone is hyperfocused on something, it's their entire existence for 3-86 business days.
We need an ADHD skills exchange app, where one person's bane of existence is someone else's hyperfocus or passion. And we can teach each other new things in a way that works for our brains.
Hold up, you mean to tell me the DEA shirked all responsibility for the ADHD medicine shortage while knowing full well that they'd forced a manufacturer who usually produced 600 million doses (12% of the national total) of ADHD meds per year to shut down???
Let's discuss 🧵
