Two weeks ago, my Dad passed away. I took those hundreds of hours and thought of him. And then I started to write.

When I get to photograph real people sometimes, it reminds me of why I love doing what I do 💜

I’m a photographer in “real life” and not just games and I snuck out with my daughter for a few sundown shots and just, look at her. 😌🌅

Can I be braggy for a second?

1: I miss photography so damn much so doing this session (in a mask) was still such a breath of fresh air.
2: My best is so pretty & in love — just look at her.
3: My backlit/sunlight skills ain’t too shabby.

[jack @tribewildlight]

Ten years out from #DeepwaterHorizon. Lots of political & environmental (& big oil industry) talk I could lend to this, as I was profoundly affected by the events that day but I think, for now, I'll just say this: The price you pay is not always the cost of things.

be calm.
