@rhinegelt @culturaltutor @seanmdav I taught astronomy labs and made students walk around campus to get GPS coordinates to calculate this themselves. Kids have it so easy these days! 😃

@TheBloggess If it makes you feel better, when I taught astronomy labs, I had some students get confused as to why they couldn't get the moon to come into focus. They had pointed the telescope at a parking lot lamp some distance off.

@CAwkward One, working retail, we were offered our choice of the day after Thxgvn or after Xmas off. I was graduating that Dec and planned to move on, so I asked for the day after Thxgvn off. Didn't get it. Was told to suck it up. Gave notice so last day would be Wed before Thnxgvn.
