It’s surprising to see the likes of Bill Cassidy and Ted Cruz openly criticizing disastrous Trump-Iran deal, but good on them for being honest. For his part, Trump retorted:
“These fools, who think I haven't been tough enough on Iran, when the Stock Market Just Hit a RECORD HIGH, and Oil prices are ‘tumbling’ down, are either jealous, bad people, or stupid,” before adding, “OUR COUNTRY IS STRONG, SAFE, AND RESPECTED LIKE NEVER BEFORE. ‘YOU'RE WELCOME!’”
Setting aside his total lack of class, tactfulness, patience, and ability to place country before self…
According to Pew Research, respect for America—i.e., rest of world’s approval of/confidence in U.S.—has dipped to levels not seen since George W. Bush’s second term following 2003 invasion of Iraq.
Apparently, most other countries don’t respect stupid wars, alienating your allies, and stripping constitutional rights from own citizens. Why? Because they’ve seen this movie before and hate ending.
The Senate adopted a resolution directing President Donald Trump to remove military forces from the conflict with Iran, a significant rebuke to the president and a strong message that the war lacks support in Congress. https://t.co/QVbkQpAp2k
BREAKING: A federal judge has blocked the use of a federal database to check citizenship, saying it could wrongly purge voters. https://t.co/SEXwxtny7t
A federal judge has voided President Donald Trump’s requirement of a $100,000 application fee for H-1B visas, ruling that he lacked authority to impose the new policy for a program used by companies to hire highly skilled foreign workers in specialized fields. https://t.co/P7mG2iCGkP
Let me get this straight.
Trump, the only president since Nixon not to release his tax returns, and who promised he would release his tax returns when he was president, is suing the government for $10 billion dollars in "damages" for leaked tax returns which reveal his corruption.
And his DOJ, which is run by his personal lawyer who he appointed as "Acting AG," is going to settle.
So the American people are now gong to personally pay a corrupt president $10 billion of our hard earned tax dollars, because his feelings got hurt when his shady tax returns were leaked?
Got it. 👌
A book written in 1953 by Ray Bradbury—who was profoundly impacted by Nazi book burning and McCarthyism—was a scarily accurate harbinger of America’s future…
$1 billion for a stupid-ass ballroom… while American children starve, veterans are homeless, we provide no healthcare or adequate public education, the rich don’t pay taxes, and we keep fighting wars for and against countries that can’t agree on which fictional religion is real.
First it was $200 million, then it was $300 million, then it was $400 million completely covered by donations from his wealthy buddies. Now it's going to cost $1 billion, and it's all paid by taxpayers.
Had enough yet?
SEN. @ChrisCoons: “Anybody else brave enough to say the Constitution prevents President Trump from seeking a 3rd term?”
TRUMP JUDGE NOMINEES: 🦗 🦗
Yikes.
$580,000,000 in oil futures moved 16 minutes before Trump announced a pause in Iran strikes.
Not after. Before.
The BBC just documented five separate instances of massive, suspiciously timed trades preceding Trump’s biggest market-moving announcements — oil futures, the tariff pause, Maduro’s capture, Iran ceasefire bets.
The platforms where anonymous accounts cashed in? Polymarket and Kalshi. Donald Trump Jr. sits on Polymarket’s advisory board and is a strategic advisor to Kalshi.
There’s even a law against this. The STOCK Act (2012) explicitly covers executive branch officials. Zero prosecutions in 14 years.
Oh, and the DOJ unit created after Watergate to prosecute exactly this kind of corruption? Trump cut it from 36 lawyers to 2 and stripped its authority to file new cases.
The maximum an individual can legally donate to a candidate in an election is $3300.
Elon donated $277M to Trump in 2024 because of loopholes rich people use to buy elections.
If you care about election integrity — overturn Citizens United so our elections aren’t auctions.
Why the hell is there a banner of Charlie Kirk on the Department of Education?
Why is CHARLIE KIRK’s face on the Department of EDUCATION.
WHY IS CHARLIE KIRK ON THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION?!?!?!?
It’s important that you understand what happened last night.
Last night, Stephen Colbert interviewed Democratic Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, a candidate who, by all accounts, is on track in the polls to flip Texas blue.
In response, Trump’s FCC reportedly threatened CBS if the interview aired.
CBS caved and pulled the segment, citing “financial reasons.”
In modern American history, no president has been more hostile to free speech than Donald Trump.
But censorship always backfires.
Here’s the full segment Trump didn’t want you to see.
